Location Access

Rafael Núñez International Airport lies about eleven kilometres away, around twenty to twenty five minutes by car depending on traffic. The hotel arranges airport transfers for a fee, and taxis are available at the terminal with fixed zones and prices.

Mamonal industrial zone is about ten minutes south by road, and the port terminals are close by. For business travellers, this proximity defines the stay.

The Transcaribe bus rapid transit system runs along major avenues of the city and connects El Bosque with the centre, though buses can be crowded. Taxis remain the most comfortable option and are inexpensive by international standards.

Ride hailing apps work in Cartagena, but their legal status fluctuates, and taxis remain common. Agreeing on the fare before departure is advisable, as most taxis do not use meters.

Boats to the Rosario Islands and Barú leave from the Muelle de la Bodeguita near the walled city. A taxi from the hotel takes around fifteen to twenty minutes.

Barranquilla is about two hours east by road, and Santa Marta around four hours, both reachable by bus or private car.
